Grzegorz Nalepa is a full professor of computer science and the head of the Department of Games Technology Research at the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy, and Applied Computer Science of the Jagiellonian University. He was a visiting professor at universities in Murcia, Wuerzburg, Bozen, Siegen, Kassel and Almería. Grzegorz is involved in artificial intelligence, cognitive and affective computer science, data science as well as contextual computing. He is the author of around 300 papers, chapters and conference proceedings published in journals such as Scientific Data, Sensors, Applied Sciences, Information Systems Frontiers, Expert Systems, Future Generation Computer Systems, IEEE International Conference on Tools with Artificial Intelligence, IEEE International Conference on Data Science and Advanced Analytics.
He has started a collaboration with the MCLL in the fields of affective aspects of mathematical cognition and developing interactive technological assistance for mathematical learning and education.
