Łukasz holds a Ph.D. in psychology and is an assistant professor at the Institute of Psychology of the University of Silesia in Katowice. In addition to psychology, he also has an educational background in sociology. His research interests include psychology of science, evolutionary psychology, and the processing of concepts. Łukasz published three scientific books, several papers in journals such as Current Psychology, PeerJ, Personality, and Individual Differences, Current Issues in Personality Psychology, and Evolutionary Psychology, and a popular science book about psychological aspects of humor, joking, and laughing. 

He collaborates with the MCLL in the scope of research on the impact of imagination on the magnitude and numerical processing.
